beautiful scenery at Marina Island

if you are born in Sitiawan / Ayer Tawar / Lumut, I'm sure you know where is Teluk Batik.

most of us went there many many times especially when we are young.
now Teluk Batik had change a lot, which means it has developed.

The beach and its surrounding was recently renovated where you will be able to see big structures, spacious squares for you to take a stroll and restrooms where you can wash up and take your shower after a swim in the sea. Tyre tubes, chairs and boats are some of the facilities available for rent at the beach.

this post is not about Teluk Batik but just want to show some pictures of the view of Teluk Batik.

opposite the Teluk Batik beach, there's a resort named TELUK BATIK BEACH RESORT
the resort is quite big and good. we went to the restaurant inside there few times just to eat buffet breakfast. haha~
many tourists like to stay here too.

well, last few weeks, i went to Marina Island with 2 of my friends. it's the first time i went there and everything is still new and in the process of developing.
we took some pictures there of course^^
the scenery there was really nice and beautiful....

当我们到那里时，有一对新人正在拍结婚照呢。。。还有几个马来人，也在那里拍照。所以说那真是一个很美的地方，到那里的人多数是拍照拍照。。。。

Marina Island Pangkor is one of Malaysia's premier man-made islands, which are being built on the coast of Teluk Muruh, opposite Pangkor Island and Pangkor Laut, in the state of Perak, Malaysia. The project which is being developed by Marina Sanctuary Resort Sdn Bhd, is reclaimed from the sea with total area of 316.9 acres, 400 meters from the mainland's shoreline.

the steak there is nice but expensive a bit la for sure. i've never been there, but passed by.

那天经过时，我朋友看到日本料理这四个字在招牌那里眼睛就亮起来了。。。呵呵，所以我们进去啦。。。




里面的环境很不错，很浪漫下，呵呵。。。

my DIY days....

today, my house finally can online.... happy~~~
the TM net Contractor came to my house. actually coz my dad had called them again yesterday tat other ppl's house telephone & internet can use already but ours still cannot. they told me before this is someone cut n stole the telephone line. then yesterday they fixed it. but may be they accidentally connect the wire to other ppl's house. =="
so my house telepohne & internet still cannot use. just now, they came again n fix it... so finally can use..^^

well,

3 months holiday... is really really long for me. haiz.
i should go n work... now left few weeks only, hard to get job. anyway, the next holiday i am going to work, to get some experience. my dad say he can recommend me, hehe...
so for this time, just relax at home and helping my mum doing housework....

meanwhile, i was 'killing my time' by some DIY... hehe.

the BACK SIDE of JIGSAW PUZZLE.....
haha.
since long time ago, it appears this 'cheating method' in the 1000s puzzle. haha.
that means you no need to scratch your head so much thinking
where is the puzzle pieces should be.
because:
you just need to join up the alphabet at the back...haha.
then when you overturn it, your puzzle is completed
with the nice picture/ scenery...(depends on what you buy)

well, actually this puzzle is bought at BILLION supermarket, AYER TAWAR.
it is so cheap: only RM 3.90.
i remembered when i was young, it was selling about RM 5 and some are RM 10++.
since it was so cheap, so me n my brother bought it. and guess what,
the puzzle quality is also cheap. haha. it was recycle paper which made into the puzzle pieces. anyway, we just playing it for fun.
it took us just 2-3 days to complete. since it is just so easy
and we not spending the whole day playing it also.

we're considering to buy another puzzle next time. haha....

next, it a 'crazy' n 'nothing to do' DIY of me....
sewing clothes for my bear bear....wakaka.
i know it is super funny and i am not good at sewing too.

funny right? and some ppl may say it was ugly(like my brother).
but my mum say it is pretty.
while my friend say it was a bit strange: looks like Korean Traditional clothes.
i corrected him saying that it looks more like JAPANESE TRADITIONAL CLOTHES...haha~
notice there is combining of two clothes? it was an accident...haha.
i accidentally cut the cloth so it was not enough for the front,
instead, i use another cloth to combine them...

* wondering wat my sister will think when she saw it. wakaka.....sure will scold me....haha~

back to some normal things:

不明白为什么有些人就是那么没公德心。要是破坏公共电话，我没话说，现在多数人有手机。可是，竟然有人去偷电话线里的cable. 听说是copper 做的，而且现在很值钱。所以一次又一次，我们taman 的电话线被剪断了。打电话去投诉，Telekom的人 来修理了，上星期五，又被剪断，一直到今天，才修好。可是为什么对面家能用，能上网，我家不能？？？真气。
还好可以detect到别人的unsecured wireless connection, 意思是不用password就可以用的internet.
telekom..... tm net.....请快点修好我家的电话线。。。
爸爸已经第三次打电话去问了。。。。

最后想说，不能上网很闷啊。。。只能看电视。

well, today is 21st July, one more month to go for me to go back university continue year 2 degree.
recently, i always sleep n online n watch tv only. haha. seldom go church to work.

finished doing the church Funeral Handbook. 裕嘉传道took it to photostat already.
next time if got funeral service need to conducted by our church, we can use it alreday^^ hehe~ so happy....

well, i dunno about my time table for year 2 yet. i guess i leave it at my hostel. November got holiday for me??? mum is bring 赞美操teachers n students + family to TAIWAN.... can i go? have to see my timetable first. but i guess that time is sem 1 final exam lar T.T
last year only 6 of them went. here's some of the photos...
they went to the 赞美操第四集 发表会& 感恩宴。meanwhile, also went to 台湾祷告山。
this year, if mum is bring a tour, then we'll go to visit Taiwan 旅游胜地 beside attending 赞美操发表会第五集。

in between, last Sunday is Elder Lee's grandson, How Kok's son: Benjamin Lee李悌廉 full moon.
after church service, we had dedication for the baby. then, some of us had lunch at Bei King Hall...here's some photos:

Medan @ Day 3….

Early in the morning, I took some photos at the hotel swimming pool side before going to the hotel restaurant for buffet =)

Well, the hotel buffet is better than yesterday. It had bread, watermelon juice, and PORRIDGE…hehe~

Then we continued our journey back to MEDAN.

It took about 2 hours plus, and we seen many nice scenery from top and took many pictures as well.

On the way, we also passed by Green Hill City (like Disneyland)… I saw the Ferry of Wheels… wanna go in n play so much but so bad, it only open on weekend… T.T

When we reached Medan, the tour guide bring us to visit a unique building… it was a combination of mosque, church n temple…

The name of the place is Graha Maria Annai Velangkanni—GRAND MOSQUE/ VELANGKANY CHURCH/ CHINESE TEMPLE/ SRIMARIAMAN TEMPLE…

We went up the 2^nd floor. It was a church. There’s ppl who came here to pray. Basically it was like a Catholic Church. The wall was painted with pictures and bible verses.

Next, we went for SHOPPING at SUN PLAZA

The first thing my mum wanna do is wash hair. So she went to the hair salon and ask me to wash too, but I prefer washing myself. So I went around shopping alone and bought an ice cream, hehe.

After that, I went back to find my mum again and we went for lunch at Shang Hai Restaurant in the Sun Plaza. The ‘xiao long pao’ there was famous and nice… I always love to eat ‘dim sum’ ….hehe~

In Sun Plaza, there’s a shop selling teddy bears…the teddy behind the glasses is so big, I like it so much….

Took photos with them. Hehe. My Medan friend told me that the shop is selling the teddy’s clothes as well and other accessories eg hat, scarf…. But it was expensive…

After shopping, we went to find the person who will be bringing us around the next few days… He was a doctor who owned a medical centre—Medan Medical Centre.

His son is also a doctor and another is a dentist, working with his son in law at the MMC as well.

We stay upstairs the MMC, which is his house from today till the day we back Malaysia.

After settle down, we had some rest and wait for the cell group to start at his house(the MMC building).

Finally, the cell group members came. And it started with dinner, then went up a room for cell group meeting.

My mum introduced to them ‘Praise Dance Exercise’ and they were laughing n enjoying so much…

The cell group end about 11pm… which is 12 midnight (Malaysia time). Omg, never experience such a long meeting before~ but really enjoyed too when saw them all so friendly…

Medan Trip Day 2

sorry for the late update... coz my house got no Internet since the day i came back from Medan.
In Medan also, only the first day can online, although tat hotel is lauzy but got wi-fi. other day can't online also. and can't charge battery as the pin plug is different.


Well, here’s the dinner for yesterday. It was by the Quality Siantar Hotel restaurant.

The name Quality was stated but the hotel is not standard at all, already very old (no upgrade n renovate) n the food also not really good.

On day 2, We had our breakfast in the hotel restaurant again. It was better compare to the dinner coz the breakfast is buffet. But dun expect too much, it is just fried rice, fried mee, fried egg and fried chicken and also timun, tomato plus with keropok. For drinks, only coffee or tea, and plain water. ( I want American breakfast n bread…)

After breakfast we start our journey in Lake Toba today. Pass by the morning market there while going to the jetty. (super complex)

We went to cruise the Lake Toba by Ferry Boat about 45 minutes (low standard as well compare to the ferry we use to ride to Pangkor Island). Coz the ferry boat is open air one, only the front part covered.

We went the Samosir Island there for visiting the Tomok Village to see the old grave stone of King Sidabutar. Our tour guide was explaining to us about the history of the King’s grave which the King’s throne is powerful n respected by every ppl during tat time.

Meanwhile, we also visited the Bomoh House, where many tourist took pic with the fade bomoh. Mum said, last time when she came, there was puppet show which is free to watch. Now our tour guide say whoever wanna watch have to pay ==”

After visiting and also walking at the street market, we went back to Parapat by the ferry boat and transferred to Local Restaurant - -Hong Kong Restaurant for lunch.

Here’s the lunch:

Mum was complaining the food is terrible although it was Chinese food. And it was so little only….

Then we continued to Berastagi.

It was a long journey…

We stop at Simarjarunjung to enjoy the famous ginger tea n pisang goring there.

( it was just like a place at Cameron Bharat for ppl to stop by n have tea beside enjoying nice scenery).

However, the Ginger Tea taste like Bah Kut Teh to me…..haha~

After 1 hour + journey, we stop at Sipiso Piso Waterfall to see the nice waterfall n also the extraordinary view of Lake Toba from top….

The scenery was really nice n natural. My brother n I took many pictures there….

The hills reminds me of the movie: The Sound of Music…. =) love it~

We proceed to Berastagi upon arrival at Berastagi, we visit Central Fruits Market.

There was also horse car riding….of course need $$$

I bought a shirt there. (you really need to 讨价还价to get urself a good price…)

Finally, we went to check in to Hotel.

N had dinner at the hotel….

The hotel today is better than yesterday one, it was 4 star hotel, but….no WI-FI !!! Haiz.

So just watch TV and sleep. Well, there’s a Christian Channel which is discussing about Bible and also daily life… good!
