youth camp

just came back from youth camp yesterday...

really enjoy the 4 days 3 night camp this year @ Skudai Harvest Church....

the theme of this year youth camp is 明光照耀。

我们是世上的光，要为主赢得灵魂。。。

we start our journey from Ayer Tawar on 9th June at 3.15am (early morning)..... then reach Johor about 12.00 noon.

i went to the hotel n took the keys for my church youth. there was 12 of us from our church. so we took 4 rooms. suddenly i realise that the driver did not have room....so after putting my lugguage, i went down the lobby again with Geok San n ask for another room. but the hotel room was not ready yet so we can't get the key now....but the bus driver had to come back to rest in the afternoon after sending us to the church. So Sis Xue Ling ask me to give one room out of our 4 room to the bus driver first n at night only we took another room key.

so i ran up the bus n told the bus driver n luckily he has no problem with that. so we went back the room n take a bath, then gathered at the lobby n went to church...

the church is just near the hotel but it took sometime for the bus to go there coz the bus is too long, can't U_TURN. it was at 4th floor of Skudai Parade.

the first day we didn't took our lunch coz not hungry n we're lack of time too.

the service start at about 2.30pm. it started with the camp theme song: 明光照耀

then started P& W n prayer....

the service end at 5pm without realizing....

the first night, sermon was spoke by Ps Tan Yee Peng.

the message was really great n impacting...

the night service end at 9.45pm... * (a bit early)....then we went back to hotel.

we wait at Geok San's room as we haven't get our room key yet. then after sometime, i went down the lobby with my friend to take the key, we waited for about half an hour downstairs.

finally i took the room key. (actually the room belongs to singapore church member but their leader ask them to give me the room first)

at the counter table...haha.

the morning service was shared by 秀专传道。

有影子是因为没有光

没有光也不会有影子

in the afternoon, 《与艺人有约》。。。they invited 陈孟奇 (Singapore artist)

many ppl didn't heard his name before coz he is not very popular, but he is very talented n his voice was so good n nice....

he is actually wrote the song 马德理不思议by Jolin蔡依琳 n also the theme song of the movie 大喜事： 〖我们的爱〗。。。n many more songs....

singing 我们的爱 with Sis Eunice in the beginning....

after his sharing + singing, he also prayed for those interested in writing songs or compose music.

then he also pray for the musician in church. i was one of them going out for 按手。

lastly, we took 大合照with him...can see me?? haha....

then day 3 n day 4.......

time flew fast, its going to end of the camp.....

after tat we took our lunch n went up the bus n started our journey back home.....

we leave skudai at 2.30pm n reach home at about 11.30pm...

if by car, it only took 7 hours, but bus took longer time...
